The Regatta – Mixed Media Sailing Art Print

A more playful take on coastal art, The Regatta combines watercolour and collage to create a light, expressive sailing scene with a distinctive character.

Originally created in our UK studio, each sail is formed from fragments of vintage maps, giving the piece a subtle sense of story and movement. Layered washes of blue and turquoise watercolour soften the composition, allowing the boats to drift across the surface with an easy, sunlit feel.

Compared to more painterly sailing pieces, this artwork feels lighter and more illustrative — making it particularly suited to relaxed interiors, bedrooms, or spaces that benefit from colour and detail without heaviness.

The combination of map textures and fluid paint gives the piece depth while keeping the overall look fresh and contemporary.

Printed on museum-quality paper using giclée printing, each print retains the delicate layering and detail of the original mixed media artwork. Available framed or unframed.
