The classic Beach House Art Original Knot series. The Reef Knot is a type of maritime double knot made symmetrically to hold securely and cast off easily.

The original paintings in the Knot Wall Art series were inspired by the working ports and harbours we have visited around the coast of the UK. Painted in our Beach House Art Studio using only two beautiful colours. The background was painted the colour of sand, to provide a perfect base for the stunning, deep indigo-blue that was used for the knots themselves. The bold contrast between the two colours is superb.

The artist used a clever layering technique to give the knots a 3D appearance. We love seeing the brushstrokes in every knot. Artwork from this Knot Wall Art Print series is a must-have for anyone who loves nautical art.
